Something heavy, dark, comfortable and warm. There is plenty of snow, ice and bad weather left to come and you want something which will keep your feet cozy and will be easy to take care of. I always wear a pair of Merrill suede waterproof outdoor shoes during this 6 months. They wren’t business shoes, but they go well with jeans, cords or khakis and they are warm, waterproof and give me good grip in the ice, snow and sludge.
