I’m from Indy, I think it is great and all, but every city lacks something.

Indy lacks almost any public transportation.

IndyGo is the bus company (yes its privatized) and their routes are confusing as heck.

There is no real discrimination, but there is racism in some parts because its “cool”.

We have some hispanics, and personally I think thats fine n dandy, but some will say its not so good.

Indy is sorta big, a little less than a million in the entire metro area, but its amazingly spread out for a city with that population.

Its spread enough that the county and city are practically one.

Public schools are so good, but what public schools are?

Um I sorta forget what else you asked so ill stop there.
o and from what I have heard, the term Hoosier comes from when, in a bar many years ago, say 1880, there was a bar fight n some1 got their ear cut off.
A man picked it up and asked, “Who’s ear?” (woot Hoosiers)
and the phrase stuck!

Just wanting suggestions are good places to go for about 4 days within 4 hour driving distance from Indianapolis. It will be myself, husband & 9 month old baby. We are wanting a nice getaway. Typically we love to shop, dine, & explore on vacation. Aquariums, science museums, entertaining things like that are things we like to do as well.
