Female tenants quickly terminated their leases due to his behavior of bringing prostitutes into the home and other suspicious activity of a drug related manor. We went through the courts here in Indianapolis, Indiana for eviction at which time her filed an appeal claiming age discrimination. Recently I got a latter from the Indiana civil rights commission including a copy of the letter he wrote them claiming that myself and other tenants were placing racial slurs on his door and his personal items in the kitchen. Which is most certainly a bold faced lie, we are all good respectable people of good backgrounds pursuing college educations, that sort of ignorant behavior would never be acceptable. I feel that lying to the civil rights commission should be perjury at least, but I didn’t know. I have never had a parasite like this appear in my home, whats should I do?

Okay, about 2 years ago I came into Indianapolis with my ex. We have accomplished together a really nice apartment, where I paid for months then the rent and only 3 have lived there for 2 weeks. I was the main applicant. I moved out because he started beat, I mean the Male, has threatened a gun for me and my family. They're trying to pin everything, when a year ago had told me over the phone that was to be held responsible souly. I have not heard anything for a year, but today I get a call and are come to my accreditation. They can do what with my pay check as soon as they take the money? Im trying to save up to get a lawyer but have been dismissed twice this year due to the economy and have a lot of medical bills for keeping me up. I have office work, images, all in support of my breaking the lease. He lived there with another 7 months, paid the penalty for breaking the lease and entered into outside a house. How long can this stay on my credit? Since then I had a great history of leasing, just a bad decision, I rented another right after the apartment for a year. Paid in advance, no damage, always on time, we now have a new apartment even more, we are hoping to be here for a couple of years. I was curious if they could still force this on my credit where I could get the car repod or something? I do not know what everyone is capable of. So if bad comes to worse could be split at least right? I mean that that is what Im hoping for that I would be willing to pay 1 / 2 guess. But I know that it will not be. So what should I do to get it for at least half? Should I take it only once in the court before them that led him into the court?

Our house has been on the market for a year now, we have listed it with two different realtors during that time and only had two showings. We want to move closer to Indianapolis, We have found 3 houses we really like and would like to buy one of them. The listing is up in a couple of days on this house and I’m wodering what the best option is going forward.

The economy in my area is very very slow (highest unemployment in the state), and there are many many houses for sale, very few are selling, and when they do sell, they are being sold for ~<90% of value. We have already dropped the price ~7% and offering to pay closing costs, and still nothing.

Which option is best for me?

1. Relist it with the same realty office
2. Try to sell it myself (FSBO and drop the price by the 7%)
3. Try one of those we buy your house today places (may not cover the payoff)
4. Move and try to rent the place
5. Move and let it go back to the bank
