Why did you get a pup you cannot provide care for??
The pup need a vet and worming and vaccines. Make it happen.
**This IS a big deal because the pup is NOT eating or drinking. Some OTC wormer WILL NOT cure that, so don’t listen to people that clearly have NO clue!!!!
Your pup needs a VET ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a good chance that if you don’t get it there, it could DIE!

Ask your vet if they offer a payment plan, that dog NEEDS to be seen by a vet.

Just buy wormer OTC. I would buy any brandname with pyrantel pamoate as the active ingredient. It runs about five dollars. If you treat the dog twice at one week intervals and still see worms, you will need to get a different wormer with fenbendazole as the active ingredient.
Just turn the boxes over and read the ingredient labels. You want pyrantel pamoate. Dogs should be wormed monthly with this. It is the wormer in the perscription drug Heart guard that kills worms in the gut (not heartworms).
It’s not a big deal nor does it have to be a big expense. You do not have to see a vet to worm your dog.

Your pup is not eating or drinking? There’s a lot more wrong with him than just worms, he needs a vet NOW!
Sorry, one of the realities of having pets is that they occasionally need expensive vet care.

i agree with most of these answers here but if your vet won`t work with you try your local shelter. most of them will help people in need of help.

How do you even know what TYPE of worms you are treating? The OTC stuff is nothing but crap.
Get the dog treated by a vet. The longer you cry poor the more toll worms take on your dog.

I am cautious to give the impression that skimping on vet visits is OK. It is not. Please plan for the future with your pup – you have got large expenses in front of you. Please set aside an emergency fund for your dog. $800 overnights to the vet need to be planned for. I hope that doesn’t happen to you, but you need to be prepared for those things.

You need to know what kind of worms the puppy has in order to properly treat them. A vet will need to do a fecal float and examine it so they can prescribe the right medicine.
There are a lot of low cost veterinary places in and around Indianapolis that may be able to help. Check this link for a place close to you:

If he’s refusing to drink and eat, sounds like something more than just worms…sounds serious and his life is at stake if he does not see a Vet asap. Many common puppy illnesses can cause death within 24-48 hours. If you can not afford to have him treated, you need to borrow money or surrender him to a shelter….NOW, do not wait any longer.
There aren’t any home remedies. People who try home remedies end up spending more money in the long run because they do not work and the problem gets worse and then it harder to treat.
He may have worms in conjuction woth another illness, but having parasites at 4 months of age does not cause them not to eat, drink etc.

IT DONT COST MORE THAN 5-10 DOLLARS TO GET A BOX OF DE-WORMING PILLS FROM WAL-MART OR A PET STORE AND NO THERE IS NO HERBAL REMEDY AND IF THERE WAS IT WOULD COST MORE THAN THE DE=-WORMING PILLS

I’ve looked over some of these answers and I feel a lack of sympathy due to people not understanding this poor girls situation. The dog has parvo and also has worms, both are being treated. Mean remarks about her financial situation are not helpful. Finding a vet that will work out a payment plan was the best choice. Ever considered the young woman had money when she purchased the dog to take him to the vet and then some unfortunate cicrumstance that she could not prevent caused her to be low on funds temporarily.
