Future of the Indianapolis Colts under coach Jim Caldwell?

I think this guy is a special breed of coach. And I have a very good felling about the future of the Colts. Especially next season. Jim Caldwell is more of a motivator. And a real winner. Many other teams where considering him as a head coach until he made it clear that he was staying in Indianapolis. I am sad that Dungy left, but in a way I’m excited at the same time. I think Caldwell is the perfect choice for this team.

If he doesn’t get bigger and stronger on his Offensive and Defensive lines, there won’t be any future.

I don’t know.Caldwell was run out of Wake Forest after quite a few losing seasons. That being said I think head coaches are over-rated anyway.More important to me is the general manager. There evaluation of talent and the players in general are the fundamentals of being successful in pro football.

it certainly will be hard to follow in dungy’s large shoes. he has a lot of talent on his roster, hopefully he and whoever the GM is will address the o&d-line needs, and possibly draft a runningback as well (i have never been a fan of addai or rhodes…) until then…i think the colts will have a down year this coming year, or the year after…
