Here is my take, everyone has been impressed with the Pats new weapons and their constant scoring. Some have even complained about it. The Colts on the other hand have not run up the score and therefore have inferior stats, don’t be fooled by the stats. I know the betting line is 5.5 at my online book but I see this as a field goal game, either way.
The Colts are the World Champions and have an improved D this year, Bob Sanders is healthy and the Pats will not score at will like they did against the Cowboys (the only other team they played this year). The Pats have new weapons for Tom but no running game to speak of and therefore is starting the game one dimensional. That is the goal of ever coach in every game, make the other team defendable.
Now that I have had time to consider all the factors I expect a final score Pats 31 Colts 32.
