No, everybody seems more upset at Rivers telling those same people off.
I thought it was ridiculous. Who does that? Do they also scream at kids taking a leak in the bathroom wearing opposing team’s jerseys? Give me a break.
it was a little of mean, however you have to understand, the colts vs patriots would have to rank as the best matchup dating back a few years, and both teams dont like each other much, thats probably the reason
ahh geez…..i bet you’re one of those who think that little league games shouldn’t keep score, so we don’t “hurt the little boys’ and girls’ feelings” too….everyone gets a trophy…
we’re all winners….yay.
that kinda crap happens, then ppl wonder why half of america is fat and lazy.
maybe we should all homeschool our kids too, so they don’t ever get teased. everyone has to grow some skin at some point in their life. its up to mom and dad to help the kid understand its part of life.
if you wear the jersey of a rival that isn’t playing that isn’t cool, she should have been taught better, I was always taught to be respectful in a visitor stadium, so she got the consequences. Like a friend of mine wore a Browns jersey to the Colts & Titans game, but he was rooting for the Colts so they didn’t hassle him.
Plus what about Phillip Rivers, that was really classy.
too be honest I understand what you’re saying I don’t think either was classy but I think Rivers was the worst, he is a player and should know better. She on the other hand pretty much was provoking people by wearing that in Indy.
A local radio station WAAF 106.7 of the Boston area interviewed her this morning by phone. She said that she was expecting it from the Colts fans. It didn’t catch her by surprise.
So she gets thumbs up in my book. Colts fans suck.
I didn’t see the game but heard about it on the radio. How low class can you get.She was accepting an award for the Kick Punt and Pass competition.I’m sure she would have preferred being surrounded by Patriot players.
Oh yes and to Me above.Yes there is a rivalry but the Colts weren’t playing them that game.If you didn’t notice you were playing SD who beat you HA HA.
I find you rude ,crude and socially unacceptable.
You are seeing a lot of the things that are wrong in football this playoffs. I agree with whoever it was that said Rivers showed no class with his behavior, but these days the fans and the players are forgetting something. Nothing is bigger then the game.25-50 years from now when another team is shooting for a perfect season and Tom Brady is already in the hall of fame, all I want to remember is the football.I think people just need to remember it’s just a game and enjoy it as such.GO PACK!!!!!!
Well representing the Patriots is worse than wearing a shirt endorsing Satan or Osama. She deserved her boos for her lack of taste and her immoral choice to be a disgusting Pats fan.
In the end, with the Colts losing, she got her pay back and the last laugh. Looks like some of the Colts could have taken some football pointers from her…Then again, it won’t be the last time this season, that the Colt fans will be watching someone with a Patriots jersey holding a trophy….hahaha…
What this truly represents is the outreaching effect of the lack of class shown by Bill Belichick. He has become such a hated individual by all fans of football due to his contempt for the rules of the league, contempt for the league’s administration, contempt for the league’s officially licensed clothing, and general lack of class, that a 14 year old girl who is merely wearing a jersey similar to the ones worn by his players would get booed in a stadium where his team is not even playing.
Bill Belichick, I hope you’re proud of yourself. But I’m sure that, just like a lot of other things, “that’s a conversation for another time.”

She laughed it off, and she wasn’t that young. She knew they weren’t booing her, but the team she was representing. All blown out of proportion.

I laughed. So did the girl. She was told in advance that they would boo, so the look on her face was of amusement.
Look – the Boston area sports fans are some of the rudest in the nation. They would have (and have) done the same. It was funny.
