I live in indiana I am so sick of hearing about the colts, and training camp ( here in terre haute where I live) They played horible in the pre season game tonight. I dont see them making it to the super bowl this year !!!!
For some its easy to avoid, But since they hold training camp here that all you hear. I guess when its your only super bowl win you have to go over board……
I happen to be a bears fan, and the colts got lucky. If the super bowl would have been played in snow not rain bears would have won.
They would not have won had it not been for their kicker…. but did he get credit? NO only manning.
For the one that bashed Terre Haute……… Its not a bad city……..I live on the noth end of town not in a “rough” area………… I Moved Here from Illinois, and love the city………… But hate all the so called fans that were not proud fans before they won!!!!!!! I have been a bears fan since I was little. Good or bad years. Im 34.

I bet all those PROUD fans wont be wearing their colts shirts after this season…………… But if they lose it wont b Mannings fault im sure, but If they win its all him OH PLZ.
I personally dont think they should make as big of a deal over sports teams as they do…………. And they should not let them off with a slap on the wrist when they get arrested because they play ball…. They should have to deal with the aftermath of what they have done.

You know, I am so tired of hearing people talk about the same thing over and over again my week 5… “will the Colts beat the 72 Dolphins?” and that annoys the hell out of me. To be honest with you though, now that they look so crappy this year, I actually don’t mind them very much because I prefer teams that look to be challenged in the NFL, not teams that strive for perfection… and get it.

They just won the superbowl chill. The game tonight was only preseason. The starters didnt even play that much.

its just preseason, you cant base anything off preseason. i think the colts went 0-5 in the preseason last year and they won the superbowl.

As a fan of the Chicago Bears, I’m more than “sick” of hearing about the Colts. They’ve had the talent to win the Super Bowl the last 4 years, and they just recently put it together.

However, under-performing in the pre-season is part of what the Colts do. Just look @ last their last pre-season. They went 1-3, giving up 85 points and scoring only 64.

Ok…. Let me see if I understand this, the Colts hold their training camp in your cess-pool of a city (yes, I played a game at Indiana State and got to spend a few days downwind of your lovely paper plant) and you are upset that they are bringing millions of dollars into your local economy?

My suggestion – go on vacation when they come to town.

the colts, WON the Super Bowl and they’re allowed to brag as much as they want.
and btw, whoever bases an entire season off the first pre-season game, doesn’t know a damn thing about the NFL.
I am sure the colts will do great this season.

The Colts won because it was raining? They played under the same conditions as the Bears. The Colts beat the Bears straight up in a neutral location, under the same weather conditions, for all the marbles. It doesn’t snow in the superbowl, and the Colts won because they played better.

I would say that’s what you get though for living in Indiana, the fans are boasting about their team that won the superbowl. I don’t blame you for being a little extra irritated since you are a Bears fan.

But it doesn’t matter where you live though, the fans of the team that has most recently won the superbowl are going to go into the next pre-season talking about winning another won, and continue to boast about how great their team is to the radio stations, and eachother, etc.

I would be willing to bet that people in Chicago would be reacting in a similar fashion had the Bears won the superbowl. You know that the Ravens fans where talking about a repeat in superbowl 36 when the 2001 pre-season started up.

While I still do not care for the Baltimore Colts records being in Indianapolis, I have nothing against fans of the Indy Colts rooting for their team, nor do I blame some of them for feeling like their team will be on top of the world again next season.

Colts got lucky? Put down the pipe, step away from the pipe, and allow your head to clear. The Super Bowl was tailor made for the Bears to win, the supposed “Monsters of the Midway” got stomped in the rain when they should have handled a dome team. The colts play indoors, and it did not affect them at all…… interesting. By the way, if you had actually watched the game, you would have seen that the rain helped the Bears keep it close, if it had been perfect conditions, the Colts would have put 50 on the supposed “Monsters”.

And it is called preseason for a reason, they don’t even really call a gameplan, just generic run right, pass left plays.

You will really be crabby when the Fairy-Bears go 6-10 this year, and what will be your excuse then? That the other 10 teams got lucky? Nice……. you should be a Raven fan with that attitude….
