I would like to find a couple restuarants that aren’t so run of the mill, any ideas?

    Two of my favorites:
Melting Pot behind Castleton Mall (very unique)
Ruth’s Chris (I like the one at Keystone best but there’s a nice one downtown too)
Another favorite standby is Old Spaghetti Factory downtown. (Not quit so expensive but kinda unique)
If you like pizza try Union Jack Pub Broad Ripple Village.
OK one more. Yat’s near Broadripple just south of Kessler on College Ave. Billed as cheap eats (college age but customer friendly) provides a selection of New Orleans style creole gumbo jumbolia type. $4 including tax for a half plate with bread. Makes a meal for an acquired taste. They have wireless Internet.
    Happy hunting.

Santorini’s Greek Kitchen in Fountain Square–on weekends they have a belly dancer, and believe it or not, it is great for the kids. This isn’t some sleazy thing, it’s just fun!
