    Update: Snuggler was incorrect and so was I. The current minimum is $5.85 and will rise to $6.55 July 24, 2008.

    It is $5.85 right now. I believe that by a certain time, it needs to be raised to $7.25, but with that, I think each state has leeway with how much they raise it at a time, as long as by the mandated date, it is what it is supposed to be.
