i went to a school called pathfinders for a week to prepare and subsequently passed the exam; the cost was around $900 to complete.
they have classes scheduled in the next 2 months that will give me about 26 hours, but not the required 40. the site now states that without the 40, would have to pay 2 or 3 times the amount to renew my license which would run about 100+. it also states that if the required number of classes not received, i may need to re-take my exam??
1; does anyone know if i can get an extension of time to accumulate my 40 hours?
2; other than pathfinders which will cost me about 300 to 400 more just to get those 26 hours, is there anywhere else in the state of indiana (indianapolis area) where i could get these addtl credits needed?
ran out of space.
3; has anyone used the online schools to obtain their credits? if so, which ones;
i found a couple out there, but state i have to take a test in front of someone licensed?? they dont state where this would be done;
with so many people licensed out there in insurance agencies that are required to be licensed and continue their education, where/how have you accomplished this?

We currently live in NJ.. you would think it would have been easy finding a job being so close to NYC… there is absoultely nothing entry level, and we do come across something that sounds ok it is a scam. We are both living at home and strive to move into an apartment and begin our lives/careers together. It just doesn’t seem possible to do that in NJ when the starting salary is around 25 -30,000 and a studio apt is $1200 a month…….. I have also been researching the housing in Indianapolis and it is a thrid of that!
Please if someone could fill me in on the job market,nightlife,shopping,car insurance ETC.
Thankyou!!
